This year troop 180 went to The Summit summer camp. the camp had everything bmx, skateboarding, kayaking, fishing, archery rifles zip-lines you name it! Anyone who went had an amazing time.

The Appalachian trail called and troop 180 came, we hiked 22 miles of the magnificent trail in four days. great food and great days lie ahead for those who join our troop.

Wolf gap was an extremely fun hiking experience. We went about 4 miles on two different trials, the first one was a pretty constant uphill with a rock scramble at the end and views from Tibbets Knob were inconceivable. The second like was a big uphill start, that flatted out at the peak where you could see for miles. any scouts reading this I urge to come on this trip next year.

But it wasn’t all about hiking, we learned about how to hang a bear bag, make a fire, and also we got to see several different methods of water safety. we also set up our tents and packed them in our bags for the hike.
